THE SUNDAY SERMON PRESENTS… Happy Mc O’Lucky & the White House St. Paddy’s Day Celebrations

“Oh, My Faded Jeans” is a radio show from comedian Danny O’Hanlon on Dundalk FM. Every show Danny usually receives a call from a local oddball (Giles Brody). This weeks call comes from promoter Nicky Fallon who wants to enlist Danny in the White House St. Patrick’s Day celebrations which includes Sean Connery, the Manic Street Preachers and an offensive leprechaun led out on a leash by Mitch McConnell.

Giles Brody

Giles is a comedy fellow from Athenry, Co. Galway. He's written jokes for "Irish Pictorial" and also wrote/directed the RTE Storyland series "Student Teacher". He co-hosts the monthly comedy show "The Mess Around" with his friend Colin Chadwick in The Workman's, Dublin. Giles helped devise an early incarnation of "The Alison Spittle Show", wrote the theatrical farce "Couples Counselling", was choked on "Republic Of Telly" and recently played Barry Man the barman in RTE's sitcom "Nowhere Fast". Giles is currently co-writing the animated adventure show "Divine Consultants" with Adam Cullen and creator Juha Fiilin for YTV.

Peter Dooley here. I was in Latin America on a business trip for Mercedes and on my trip I visited Lima in Peru one night I was in a bar and the bar owner a Peruvian very short guy said you are from Ireland you must know Giles broody I said how in the name of jaysus do you know our Giles broody he turned around turned up the stereo and there was the Sunday sermon playing in the bar he said I love him other people were laughing you see it was dubbed into Spanish by the bar owner he said I translate him I love him. There was pictures of you in the bar it was very surreal when I was leaving the bar he said tell him you I love him. So ye small world how are ya anywho
